Frankie & James Combs

James Neill Combs, 56, of Rt. 3, Greenbrier died Thursday (Jan. 6, 1977) at Baptist Medical Center. He was a retired employee of International Shoe Co.

Born July 28, 1920 at Springfield (Conway County), he was a son of Steve and Jessie Moore Combs.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frankie McMillen Combs; a son, Kenny Combs of Fayetteville; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Daves of Heber Springs; a brother, George Combs of Mabelvale; a sister, Mrs. Robert David of Little Rock, and three grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m.Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Church near Greenbrier. The Rev. Wallace Glover and the Rev. Cecil Burgess will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be C.T. Clements, Paula Clouette, A.E. McKim, Seth McMillen, Dan Hendricks and Gary Dew.
